Clear Expands

Award winning design agency Stylus are to join forces with Clear Design to build one of the largest regional digital design agencies in the West Midlands.

Clear have already seen steady growth over the past 12 months through high profile projects wins. This agreement will bring a team of specialist staff who will be able to reinforce the existing team and offer additional services.

Both agencies have operated from the Design Centre for the past 7 years and worked together successfully on a variety of projects.

Talented programmer joins the team

Specialist programmer Matt Stone has joined Clear to strengthen its expanding website development team. Matt joins Clear with over a decades experience
working as a web developer. He brings with him a wealth of specialist skills including Zend Framework, php and ecommerce application development.

He has previously worked on projects for clients such as Find a property, Virgin and Fullham FC. “Matt is a very talented programmer and brings to the business his experience and skills which compliment our existing team” commented Gavin Mills, Director.

A keen advocate of web standards, accessibility and open source software Matt thrives on new technology and the ever changing nature of the web. Matt will be responsible for development of core web software and ecommerce development.

E-learning developer appointed

Carl Hughes

Carl Hughes has become the latest recruit to arrive at Clear, working as a web developer and bringing with him an array of skills.

Previously working within an e-learning development company Carl has amassed in-depth knowledge of Adobe Flash and Multimedia development.

Carl also has a first class degree in Multimedia and Web Programming and spent his final year at university creating a piece of e-learning software aimed at beginner guitarists. The project was received with great enthusiasm from his tutors who later choose to use it as an exemplar piece of work to show to future final year students.

Clear Design, Shrewsbury, has just completed the first phase of the new Powerleague online kit store. Clear Design was selected to build and re-launch the ecommerce store which is linked into the main Powerleague website. The new site offers improved navigation and functionality.

Clear Design expertise in design & build of websites and its passion for creating user-friendly ecommerce versions worked in favour of the specific design brief where the purchasing process had to offer customers a straight forward method of buying kit, selecting sizes & colours and making payment.
